Punk Rock Karaoke is a DVD/CD combo. The CD combines a punk rock supergroup with a revolving list of punk front men, with members of NOFX, Bad Religion, Circle Jerks, Social D, Adolescents, DI and Agent Orange. The vocals are provided by the singers from Pennywise, The Vandals, Flogging Molly, Lagwagon, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes and more. A personal favorite would be Dave King singing Bad Religion’s “Fuck Armageddon… This is Hell.” The DVD includes karaoke versions of all the songs, with onscreen lyrics and off-kilter backgrounds. The only problem is its brevity; the CD only has 10 tracks, with about 25 minutes of music. Punk Rock Karaoke is perfect for those who spent formative years shouting themselves hoarse to punk rock classics.
