Synthesis reporter and photographer get nowhere at SnoCore Tour

It was learned late Sunday night that V.I.P. passes to the SnoCore Tour taking place at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento do not make any 'Persons,' 'Very Important.' When Synthesis correspondent Miles Newell and photographer D.C. Ramirez tried to establish what about the passes made them 'Very Important' they were met repeatedly with mean looks and stern rebukes at every turn.
"It started with the bitch at the will call window." related an irate Mr. Newell. "She said we weren't on the list and that we should just go into the show and talk to one of the promoters. Yeah right, like we were going to find anyone in that crowd of five thousand. So finally after about an hour of sitting in a bar down the street we came back during one of the opening bands' sets and they found our passes. It sucked, we missed all of Puya and about half of Mr. Bungle." Photographer Ramirez confirmed that the situation did, in fact, suck. "Yeah, it sucked," he agreed later that evening.
Once into the show Newell and Ramirez were even further disappointed to learn that the so called V.I.P. passes wouldn't even get them backstage and that the photo pass would only enable them to take pictures of Incubus, and Incubus alone.
In desperation Newell resorted to extreme measures in an effort to get better coverage. "We're from Rolling Stone." He was heard telling a security guard, "We're 'Important Persons.' Can't you see what this pass says? It means we know people. Do you have a lawyer?" Unfortunately, this approach also proved fruitless and Newell's only option left was to sit dejectedly in the upper balcony and curse Bill Graham Presents Promotions while drinking overpriced beers from the auditorium's snack bar downstairs.
On a positive note it was a pleasant surprise to those concerned that Incubus put on another ripper set with songs like "New Skin" and "Consequences" and the ever-popular and radio-friendly "Pardon Me," even though the acoustics inside the cavernous and high-ceilinged auditorium somewhat dampened the authority of their on-stage angst.
