2 Live Crew, Thug-E-Fresh & G-Pek

When I walked in, DJ G-Pek was spinning. Now for those of you who have had the fortune to see Pek spin, you know what's up. But for those of you haven't, you need to stop playing yourself and buy a G-Pek CD, because he's the best DJ Chico has to offer. G-Pek spun out some dope hip-hop for the heads, unfortunately not enough people were showing him love back. Suckas need to realize you can't front on G-Pek.
First to take the stage was Big Bobby the Bouncer, the hypeman, and he did just that. He got the crowd hype as fuck. Once the crowd was ready he brought out Thug-E-Fresh who got a mediocre response from the crowd after his first two songs. I think they were just a little too hard for all the freshman girls. But once Hardcore Jerry stepped on stage with a bag full of pre-wrapped 40s, the crowd knew what time it was. It was time to get crunk! "The 40 Song" blared out the speakers and some girls jumped on stage and started dancing. I could tell it was gonna be a good night. The foursome of Thug-E-Fresh, DJ G-Pek, Hardcore Jerry and Big Bobby the Bouncer fucking rocked; they seriously killed it. It was real hazy for me, but I remember having a permanent smile on my face and seeing hella hot females dancing everywhere. They even got love by some fool in the front row in a wheelchair. Random highlights of their performance include: Hardcore Jerry doing "Lining up the Bitches" over the "My Neck, My Back" song and Bobby's chant of "We say hell, you say la" at the end of "Hella." The height of their show was the last song, "Stripper Party." There must have been at least 25 girls on stage dancing with the Six Feet Deep representatives. It was off the hook. Much props to Thug-E-Fresh and G-Pek for tearing the place down, even though they were the opening act.
Next up was Macadocious or something like that. They were some gangster rap cats out of the bay. They found out the hard way that trying to follow up after Thug-E-Fresh and company just killed shit ain't happening. The rapped for a while, and they were cool, but the horny girls in the crowd wanted something to dance to or rub up against, not some gangster shit.
Last up was 2 Live Crew. I could be wrong, but I think that there was only one of the original four members present that night. I didn't expect Luke to show, but that would have been nice. Speaking of nice, 2 Live Crew had some nice strippers with them. Three bootyful strippers with ass and titties came out with the Crew and gave the guys something to look at and the girls something to imitate. 2 Live Crew played all the booty shaking jams that we all wanted to hear, and it was tight, but their stage show with the strippers was to die for. I can't praise their strippers enough.
Overall the show was a success. Everyone had fun and saw some things they won't forget for a while (stripper with the water bottle). And it is in this writer's opinion that Thug-E-Fresh and G-Pek stole the show. Best concert of the semester thus far, no doubt.

Comments down for maintenance.
