Standfast

Standfast

Editor's Review:

The debut release from local new-school punk outfit Standfast, this four-song EP stands up better than the majority of its local counterparts due to the band's ability to find what works and stick to it. In this case, what works is a sound reminiscent of Big Choice-era Face to Face and early Fat Wreck Chords bands. Although not the cleanest of recordings, Standfast nevertheless makes its presence felt with four up-tempo and somewhat uplifting tracks.
