Stone Temple Pilots

Shagri La Dee Da

Editor's Review:

In an era where the majority of bands prove to be nothing more than brief flashes in the pan, STP ranks among the elite few bands that have showed true staying power. This staying power is due to many things: great songwriting, strong musicianship and that good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll swagger. Shargri La Dee Da, although in no way groundbreaking, is still a pleasant listen. "Days of The Week," is classic STP; irreverent lyrics, snappy chord progression and sparkling production care of Brendan O’Brien. Shangri La Dee Da is nothing new, but who needs new when you’ve got Weiland?
