Fabulous Disaster

Put Out or Get Out

Editor's Review:

Imagine a used-up, gnarly, tattooed, butch version of The Donnas, and you start to get a good idea of Fabulous Disaster. Now imagine this hypothetical version of the Donnas with a talent other than shaking their youthful asses, and you draw nearer still. Fabulous Disaster sound like the dirty-offspring of The Go-Go’s and The Ramones. Think Teen Idols, but more girly-core and less of the pseudo-greaser image. Happy harmonies conceal such lyrical gems as "rich bitches in Volvos piss me off. " Maybe some of you ladies out there feel the same way. Cut off your hair, get a tattoo, and buy this CD — feel the power of girly-punk the way it was meant to be.
