Kill Your Idols

Funeral For A Feeling

Editor's Review:

This is the first I’ve heard from Kill Your Idols in years; I thought they had broken up. I suppose it’s because this is the first album with good distribution and luckily for the band, it’s the best yet. I’ve always loved their guitar sound; it’s not generic, as most bands in this genre have the same sound. This is melodic and even soulful without losing it’s edge or ferocity. I would recommend this album on guitar sound alone, but there’s a lot more, introspective lyrics that lend a voice to anyone afraid to speak up. They deal with the trials and tribulations of everyday life, if you’ve lived at all you should like this record. I almost forgot the best part — there’s a Poison Idea Cover.
