the Casualties

Die Hards

Editor's Review:

Damn these guys are punk. From the tips of their pointy mohawks to the toes of their combat boots, this band is punk through and through. The title track fairly boasts this fact with lines like, "we’re the fucking punx / we’re few but we are real" and so on. Gritty vocals are not overwrought in the Rancid-esque vein, but are rather simply raw. "Made in N.Y.C." is a brave, yet simple anthem that fucking rocks with lyrics like, "Sniffing glue / drinking beers / don’t give a fuck / what the hippies think." This album is balls to the wall, non-stop, hardcore dirty punk. ‘Nuf said.
