Puddle of Mudd

Come Clean

Editor's Review:

From the same corporate masterminds, namely Fred Durst, who brought such memorable contemporary "artists" as Limp Bizkit and Staind, comes Puddle Of Mudd. But it is readily apparent that the clone of a clone is measurably less competent than either of its predecessors. Boiled down, Puddle Of Mudd is basically Staind part deux. But whereas Staind at least had the decency to flaunt their pop-sensibilities, Puddle Of Mudd does their best to conceal them behind a "rocking" facade. If you really dig adult contemporary metal, then you’d more than likely be very excited by Come Clean. You better hurry too, because before you know it, Fred "Lou Pearlman, Jr." Durst will have yet another hot, young boy band for you to "rock out" to.
