Satellite
Editor's Review:
The Christian quartet's highly anticipated sophomore album, Satellite, is pretty good, but not great. Several songs were memorable, particularly “Without Jah, Nothin’,” which succeeds admirably in combining two unlikely musical genres: punk and reggae. “Guitarras de Amor,” is cool because it evokes an oceanic feel by utilizing little more than a single guitar. The rest of the album is infused with lyrics that are interesting because they are so personal. Unfortunately, the majority of the songs sound all too similar to the droves of other rap-rock-metal bands that have come to fruition on the radio waves lately.– Ryan Mungia
