the most skilled warriors in the battle, and DJ Babu…well, just stay out
of this world battle champ's way when he's on the 1s and 2s. The result of the
trio's latest collaborations is 17 tracks that invariably embody the true elements
of hip-hop music. From Babu's deadly vinyl slicing and beat reconstruction ("Dilated
Junkies") to the clever, intelligently forceful and meaningful nature of
Dilated's lyrics ("Worst Comes To Worst," "Clock Work" et
al), this loyally independent crew's music celebrates hip-hop culture and humanity
to the truest, and does it by sticking to the basic tenets of the genre: hard
rhymes and rugged beats. True talents just can't be knocked.
