Injected

Burn It Black

Editor's Review:

Burn It Black is the major label debut of a Georgia-based hard rock band that goes by the name of Injected. I'd have to say that every song on this LP shows a complete disregard for current musical trends á la TRL, which is one of the reasons I like them so much. They have songs with lyrics that deal with heavy issues like alcoholism, but I wouldn't call it a depressing album. Listen to the energetic "Faithless." The drums provide a sturdy backbone for huge guitar hooks and soulful vocals. Not every song is great, though there are a few. At the end of the day, Burn It Black isn't bad for being a freshman.
