Return Of The Loving Dead

Editor's Review:

This album is an odd mix of psychobilly, straight rock 'n' roll and cheesy horror that could be easily dismissed the first time you hear it, but if listened to a few times tends to grow on you. This is the U.S. debut by these greasy Danish spooks, but they've released at least five albums since their formation in '89. The lyrics are a little goofy, though most Europeans playing American music come off that way, and the music is actually quite authentic; I wish I could make my guitar sound so good. This one really isn't for everybody, but if you have a good sense of humor you'll enjoy it. I think it's a great album, and I don't really like anything, so if you have an open mind, check it out.
