Too $hort

I don't know of a person who doesn't automatically smile when a Too $hort song comes on. And that tradition will live on with his latest single. Although the emphasis for this release seems to be on the entourage-packed "Quit Hatin' pt. 1," I find the flipside, "That's Right," to be the real luxury. "Quit Hatin'" is more of an upbeat track with traditional $hort-Dog lyrics (bitch this, bitch that) and it's got a bunch of his homies on there reminding you to not hate on them, while "That's Right" is on the laid-back, smoking a bleezy while getting some dome tip. It's just the gangster slow jam, but don't get it twisted - this isn't some pussy shit, it's the real shit. Regardless of what I say, you should go pick up the new album, What's My Favorite Word?, because $horty the Pimp is a West Coast legend, and you know that's right.
