Xzibit

Man Vs. Machine

Editor's Review:

Xzibit's latest release, thick with minimal soul overtones and huge bottom-heavy bass hits, is above all else, a confirmation of his ability to find producers who can bang the boards for the bomb-ass beats. Utilizing big name knob-turners like Rockwilder, Jellyroll, Rick Rock as well as really big name ones like Eminem, Dr. Dre and Erik Sermon (the whole project was executive produced by Dre), Xzibit manages to put together one hell of a bag of tricks. As an MC, he still has shit together too…but just in case, X gets plenty of backup on Man Vs. Machine from the likes of M.O.P., Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Eminem and more (sadly, though, no Likwit Crew members). The result is a smooth and booming release from a solid rapper who's always been able to stand on his own skill. Enjoy this at high volume with ice cold Cris' and some indo'.
