Mos Def

I've come to the conclusion that there are two MCs named Mos Def. One is a universal magnetic b-boy who earned his stripes as a lyricist and social revolutionary. The other is on a paper chase and chooses to make club anthems over songs with content. This 12-inch is definitely the club banging Mos Def. "Workin' It Out" is the first single off the Avatar compilation Out Of Bounds, and features producer Minnesota behind the boards. This Mos Def does a good job in duplicating a popular sound and style, but throws in a little more creativity than the rest. It's a danceable track, but I'm curious if clubs really play this stuff. Get your money Mos, but don't neglect that other dude who established your name.
