This collection of independent hip-hop music videos is the fourth installment in an ongoing series of videos put out by those hip-hop revolutionaries at Culturama. Culturama.org is an online zine and video distributor / all-around underground hip-hop movement that has been providing an outlet for independent hip-hop artists to get their music videos seen by those in the know by way of the Culturama Video Collections. By now we all should have seen or know someone who has a bootleg copy of the previous three volumes. Thus, it is now time we all saved up that hard earned lunch money and bought the longest collection Culturama has put out to date. This collection features over 90 minutes of videos from some of the better-know acts to the most obscure hip-hop artists you will not see on MuchMusic or MTV2, no matter how hard they pretend to represent. Some of the more known artists on the video include Abstract Rude, Del the funkee Homosapian, Non Phixion and Quasimoto. Motion Man alongside Kutmaster Kurt's video "Come On" battles The Mighty Casey's "White Girls" for best hip-hop video of the year. Also in contention would have to be the video for the mindblowing Busdriver song "Imaginary Places." The videos are all smoothly spliced together with old school footage and interview snippets with relevant figures in the indie hip-hop community.
