The Briefs

Hit After Hit

Editor's Review:

Sometimes, a song’s lyrics will urge you to dig deeper to find out their true meaning, and sometimes you get wonderfully concise lines like “I got a new case of crabs” from “New Case” or She’s got a knife to my brain, alright” from “Knife,” both ditties courtesy of Seattle’s The Briefs. If that doesn’t give you proper indication of what you can expect from Hit After Hit, I’ll break it down for you: crass punk rock ‘n’ fuckin’ roll played in a rather tactless, and expedient manner — some tracks are so short, they’re over before they begin. In other words, put your brain on idle and have a great time!
