Armor For Sleep

Dream To Make Believe

Editor's Review:

Taking the melodicism of harder edged emo-core bands like Thursday and mixing it with the seriousness and layered construction of indie pop acts such as Time Spent Driving, Armor For Sleep makes a very strong showing on Dream To Make Believe, their national debut. Although they certainly aren’t the only band to give this hybrid sound a go — it seems like just about every pop-punk label is jumping on this same bandwagon — Armor For Sleep certainly makes it sound more sincere than most. If you’re down with Tooth & Nail / Militia Group style pop-core, give this record a go.
