Process Of Belief

Editor's Review:

Those fans who thought New America strayed too far into pop provinces will take heart at Process Of Belief’s more classic sound. Mainlining profundity was never so enjoyable, as a band energized by the return of original guitarist Brett Gurewitz rips through 14 sizzling, informative songs. "Guide me now, for I can't see a reason for the suffering and this long misery," emotes a characteristically perturbed Greg Graffin in "Sorrow," envisioning a world without pain. This rock anthem gratifies both aging boomers’ taste for lush melody, and underage anarchists’ taste for furious, snare-driven dissent. An aural bridge, as it were, spanning the gulf between generations. Indeed this sums up the entire CD. If world peace comes with a soundtrack, Process Of Belief will be included.
