Spitalfield

Remember Right Now

Editor's Review:

Believe or not, Chicago seems to be the current spawning ground for next-generation emo-punk bands. Spitalfield, the windy city’s latest and most commercially viable offspring, are so stunningly fuzzy and upbeat they make New Found Glory sound like hardcore. But somehow this is not a bad thing; the dudes in Spitalfield are totally comfortable with their wimpy-ness and it comes through in their music. Be forewarned, Remember Right Now is unabashedly bubble-gum punk, but if you like songs about girls and stars with lots of “whoa whoa whoa”-ing, then Spitalfield will make your day.
