Sheryl Crow

The Very Best of Sheryl Crow

Editor's Review:

There isn’t much you could say about Sheryl Crow that isn’t already known and agreed upon by the music community in general. As far as country-style rock ‘n’ roll is concerned, she is royalty. And like any best-of album, this one just reinforces the status quo opinion with all the strongest and most well-known tracks all in one place. Starting off with her first hit single, “All I Wanna Do,” and carrying through to her current material, including both the radio and the country version of the latest, “The First Cut is the Deepest,” the album is more or less a career tour for anyone who’s curious. My guess is a lot of people will be. The booklet lists each song with album and production info as well as awards received, and includes career-spanning publicity photos.
