Too $hort

Editor's Review:

It’s hella easy to review a shitty album. But with albums like Too $hort’s Married to the Game, I can only say “it’s dope” in so many ways. I could point out lines like “I made too many songs to name the tracks / not enough walls to hang the plaques,” but that would take up too much space. I could emphasize the dope Lil Jon tracks like the unedited “Shake That Monkey” and “Hey Let’s Go,” where Devin the Dude spits a verse harder than dried thick white snot. But why explain all that when I could just say the new Too $hort is dope. I have only two qualms with Married to the Game: first, there is only one Ant Banks track; and second, the liner notes feature past classic album covers from $hort Dog, yet on this album he’s just on the cover with two bitches. But the overall dope music of the CD more than makes up for these small problems.
