Guilty pleasure number one: crunk music. If you think it’s a new phenomenon, you’re a dummy, because this shit’s been the gospel of the dirty south clubs for years. “Get Low” was the breakthrough hit, and ever since then the airwaves haven’t been safe from Lil Jon’s rolling bass and classical keyboard melodies. Lyrically the music embodies everything wrong in hip-hop, but the beats are so ill you can’t help but get pumped. “Crunk” is an energy, and if you’ve never been in the proper setting you probably won’t get it. Crunk and Disorderly features all new tracks from all of the sub-genre’s best including Trina, Bone Crusher, Youngbloodz and Lil Flip. Oh yeah, there are four “crunk” Christmas songs.
