Hieroglyphics will never fall off; in fact, they are maybe more popular than they ever have been, but their music holds about half the potency it used to. The A side to this single “Make Your Move” features Casual and Pep Love trading off 12 bars two times over, and the beautiful voice of Goapele on the chorus. 9th Wonder remixes this joint, picking up the vibe a little, but still a disappointment. On the B side, Casual and Pep Love pop up again, joined by Souls of Mischief on “Love Flowin.” There is an A Plus remix to the original that offers a little more energy than the first, but still doesn’t get my neck muscles loose. Worst of all, all songs are radio edits. Fuck that shit.
