If you got into the deep full-throttle power rock of Chevelle last time around, you will be happy to know that their new 11-song full-length, This Type of Thinking..., has just infested the stands. With dark, heavy adrenaline riffs combined with vocals to match, it’s amazing that this stack of new tracks hot off the griddle can also come off sounding as clean as it does loud and intense. These three brothers from Chicago have decided to stay constant, offering head nodding tracks with tasteful lyrics that tend to target ones in need of a helping hand and give encouragement for those left behind. While you may hear their track “Vitamin R” getting some good buzz over the airwaves, the whole album should bring more favorites to your daily morning or evening drive to work.
