Ying Yang Twins

My Brother and Me

Editor's Review:

When you’ve got rappers like the Ying Yang Twins joining forces as a group, you’d think they would be able to handle making an album on their own. But on their latest CD, My Brother and Me, the Twins feature more guest appearances than any credible artist has in their entire discography. This album is disappointing, consisting of five remixes and so many guest shots the Twins never get the chance to prove themselves. The CD is a mix of their usual crunk-consumed club bangers, but the hard-hitting radio hit “In Da Club” is the only song that has any flavor. The remixes, including two versions of “Salt Shaker,” Juvenile’s “Slow Motion” and “Me and My Brother,” add guest appearances, but no changes in production values. Also included is a DVD of the Twins’ “What’s Happnin'” and “Naggin'” videos, their MTV Cribs appearance and a couple of performances.
