Coheed and Cambria

Live at the Starland Ballroom

Editor's Review:

Those who still remain unfamiliar with the mysticism of sci-fi neo-proggers Coheed and Cambria now have a chance to witness the band in their ultimate setting: the live concert. Live at the Starland Ballroom captures all the afro-metal antics and frenzied emo outpours within a set that consists mainly of tracks off of 2004’s In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. In what has come to be a conceptual milestone of sorts for introverted space-saga fanatics, the DVD offers glimpses into the band’s modus operandi regarding their limited video catalog, as well as interviews with the group. While the intensity and aura of the group is somehow lost when they’re portrayed as real people, the fact remains that if you’re a fan of weaved intergalactic war stories and eerily romantic rock ‘n’ roll, you’ll probably be sucked in.
