DJ Shadow w/ Keak da Sneak, Turf Talk
3 Freaks
Editor's Review:
Oh what? You haven’t heard? DJ Shadow is getting grimy with the turf cats. This single is going to be off Shadow’s upcoming album, but somewhere in between, these official bootlegs popped up. So yeah, basically if you don’t got these, I feel bad for your mother. To no real surprise, the song is a super slapper, with Shadow doing his best hyphy rendition and Keak and Turf spittin’ some cold Ls. In true Shadow fashion, the beat undergoes a couple of progressions with an extended breakdown that screams “buy two of me.” You could restore the Great Salt Lake with the tears of the bohemian Shadow fans after they hear this, but those nerds can get the dillz. Girl pants ain’t hip-hop.
