Bare Jr.

Brainwasher

Editor's Review:

It seems like the beginning of the 21st century has been bringing us a lot of bands that blend diametrically opposed musical styles together. Bare Jr. does this by blending Hard Pop with Alternative Country. The catchy, repeating choruses get stuck in you mind through their use of gritty guitar overdrive, lap steel twang and rough drawling vocals. Some songs like the title track have that Superdrag rock riff thing going, while others like "Why Do I Need A Job," are laid back, yet they all share a certain down home simple rock ‘n’ roll roots vibe. Not Bad.
