Jello Biafra

Become the Media: Spoken Word Album #6

Editor's Review:

Jello has some interesting things to say about the current state of our country and the multinational corporations that control our social policy. For those not familiar, Jello was the lead singer of the political punk band, The Dead Kennedys and New York Green Party nominee in the past presidential election. On this three disc album, he speaks, not sings, letting us know what he thinks about the WTO, NAFTA, The World Bank, the difference between the "Republicats" and "Democrans," and the dangers of "Frankenfood," (genetically altered foods). He’s just about as left wing as you can get. He makes Karl Marx look like Jesse Helms. Some of the editing is poor and he repeats himself a bit, but it’s definitely worth a listen if you’re politically minded.
