Common is one of the few hip-hop artists out right now who still has meaningful things to say without degrading women or talking about makin' his paper and getting rich. Tracks such as “The People” featuring Dwele, “So Far to Go” featuring D'Angelo and “Drivin' Me Wild” featuring newcomer Lily Allen, not only catch the beat, but make you proud to sing along. Love, life and the pursuit of happiness is all Common is worried about, and he can be applauded for that.
