Bear Hunter
You Will Be Heard!
Editor's Review:
What would you think if someone told you that one of 2007’s best records came right out of Chico, CA? Well, believe it, because our very own Bear Hunter has dropped a precision-crafted, sonically overwhelming collection of songs with their long-awaited debut full-length release, You Will Be Heard!. Highlighted by beyond-tasteful playing and meticulous production, ...Heard! is the definition of a great independent rock album. “Seveneight” opens with a menacing bass riff that sucks you in and holds on tight, barely giving you a chance to breathe before the alt-rock perfection of “My Nemesis the Cheese Grater” leaves you with no doubt that this is the real thing. Note: Several bong rips and a pair of headphones considerably add to the overall experience.Write Your Own Review

Bio[+]Bear Hunter is a three-piece rock band from Chico, CA. their music has been lovingly compared to Syd Barrett’s Pink Floyd, David Bowie’s experimental East Germany years, The Cure’s manic depressive catchiness and Postal Service’s seamless use of live instruments with electronic beats. Their debut LP, You Will Be Heard!, is the product of what happens when three music geeks get locked in a basement equipped with ProTools, vintage gear and a slew of instruments.
