Everclear

Songs From An American Movie Vol. 2: Good Time For A Bad Attitude

Editor's Review:

This somewhat silly attempt at making pop superstars Everclear into a harder band is salvaged only by Art Alexakis's wonderful songwriting and singing talent. Although they have always sung about darker subjects their pop trademark is left behind for a harder guitar and uncharacteristic driving bass. All this can be forgiven, if not forgotten, due to Art's songwriting, he holds this concept album together with his voice and good lyrics typified on "The Good Witch of The North". If you can come across a cheap or free copy jump on it, if not Napster or a friend with a tape or CD-R is always an option.
