You May Already Be Dreaming

Written By: Rick Barnett

Editor's Review:

Never has being scared and filled with pain seemed so beautiful as it does when coming from the mouth of Jake Bellows. You May Already Be Dreaming is a good night's sleep in a bed filled with demons. With each song mastered with bone-chilling lyrics such as, “Fuck it, it’s done/Time to make me a song/I got the fear and the pain/It’s time to pass it on,” Neva Dinova throws song after song from acoustic guitar and piano to their known thick and textured triple guitar work. Bellows pours his heart out once more in the band’s third full-length and their best work to date. With glass to the sky, here’s to You May Already Be Dreaming as the best album of 2008, and possibly the best of 2009. It’s that fucking good.
