Tsunami Bomb

The Invasion from Within

Editor's Review:

Tsunami Bomb approaches new-school punk-rock with a refreshing take. Sure, there’s nothing new about a five-piece punk band that features a female singer and a female keyboardist (especially a female keyboardist), and there’s nothing at all that special about taking on a ghoulish persona. Where Tsunami Bomb shine, is in their music. The foundation of much of this stuff is hard and fast guitar and bass lines, bolstered by tight and timely drumming, over which the keys add a spooky depth. Agent M’s vocals are strong and feminine, but avoid sounding like anything Lilith. Smartly constructed punk rock songs with inventive and catchy pop interludes and awesome dual female vocal harmonization put this six-track EP over the top.
