Souls of Mischief

Trilogy: Conflict, Climax, Resolution

Editor's Review:

The latest release from one of the most well-known independent hip-hop collectives in the game, Hieroglyphics (see also Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Casual et al.), Souls of Mischief's Trilogy is 17 tracks of Bay Area rap goodness. It's pretty much standard Hiero fare - if you're already a fan, then you know what to expect; if you're not, it's a good introduction to Bay Area independent hip-hop. Thick with the funk, hearty with tight rhyme flows, Trilogy is exactly what fans have come to expect from Hiero.
