Oddman

Hollow Eyes

Editor's Review:

Definitely the hardest of the hardcore rock bands playing with any frequency in the Chico scene right now, Oddman is a local four piece-rock act of brutal intensity and hard-driving conviction. Hollow Eyes, the group’s debut CD release, is a relentless 10-song collection of furious hard rock and metal songs, each replete with interesting time changes, interludes of surprisingly funky guitar that develop quickly into thunderous choruses and driving passages, all backed by an in-your-face vocal attack that lets up only when appropriate for the music, which isn’t often — these guys are all rock all the time. Get Hollow Eyes at Tower, the Underground and Sundance in downtown Chico, and support a damn good local band.
