P.A.W.N.S.

...And They Thought Anarchy Was Bad

Editor's Review:

With their third release on Bad Monkey Records, the P.A.W.N.S once again come out with both guns blazing. But, unlike many politically-fueled punk bands, the P.A.W.N.S have not only the intellectual capacity, but also the musical proficiency to back up their opinions. Lyrics that alternate between subdued, satirical, contemptuous, and all-out disdain for the current state of society are matched by a constantly shifting musical backdrop. Abrupt time changes, dynamic variety, even a kazoo solo; not the typical fare of punk-rock. So if you've grown weary of the state of world affairs, or if you just want some good old fashioned political-punk, definitely check out the P.A.W.N.S.
