Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends

Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends is an amusingly cute cooking sim for the Nintendo DS. Mama presents a series of dishes, ranging from kimchi to chilidogs, for the player to cook with her. The dishes are prepared step-by-step with the player using the DS’s stylus and touch screen to chop, grind, mix, boil and fry. Simple visual cues are given to instruct virtual cooks on how to use the stylus, enabling Cooking Mama to be enjoyed by even the youngest of gamers. Given the integral application of the stylus, Cooking Mama 2 makes great use of the DS’s capabilities. It will soon be available for the Wii, as well, so keep an eye out for it, Wiitards.
