Web Site Review

The Basset Beatbox is, well, a basset hound who beatboxes. The Web site is in Swedish, but the words are fairly easy to figure out from context, especially if you know some German. The extremely floppy hound stands there with one paw on the turntable, getting his or her groove on, and you get to insert various scratches, “voffs” (woofs) and other breathy doggie sounds by clicking eight little buttons with your mouse or the corresponding keyboard keys. Press the space bar or “spela in” to begin recording, then after the track finishes, you can either play your basset-recording, “skicka” (send) it to someone via email, or reset it and try again. Woo, fun!
